“I was referred to Sandy Dorsey by my home loan lender. Sandy is a subject matter expert with 30+ years of experience/knowledge in this business and it shows. I just started my home/car insurance policy with Erie via Sandy which meant I needed to cancel with Progressive. When I called Progressive, the agent misled me to believe that I would have a gap in coverage if I cancelled mid month, and if I didn’t pay for 2 months…well I put them on hold and called Sandy on my other phone (briefed her), then let her listen to the Progressive agent. Needless to say, Sandy set her straight, reciting MD state law regarding auto insurance. The Progressive agent backtracked and abandoned her previous statement. I won’t bore with all the details, but the most important takeaway here is this, if Sandy had not been present, I would’ve been made to believe I was obligated to pay $400 vs $200 …if I wasn’t sure about my decision to switch before, I CERTAINLY am now. Sandy had my back and I loved every minute of it. I know I’m not the only one who’s experienced these insurance companies talking in circles, trying to rob you blind! Glad I don’t have to deal with that anymore…I have Sandy…I suggest you get her too😉…or continue to suffer😊”
